When Bernard Smith founded Modellounge in June 2009, he was looking to create a year-round hangout for the long-legged ladies of NYC. Now the organization is offering summer Friday parties, dubbed the Modellounge x Microsoft Summer Hangout, at Hotel Gansevoort in NYC’s Meatpacking District for the catwalking crowd. We attended the kickoff last week, and met up with Joan Smalls, Chanel Iman, and more familiar faces at this blissful downtown destination.Smalls, Heidy De la Rosa, and Damaris Lewis pose in a faux Polaroid frame.
