Although unorthodox we start our research notes with canada goose coats on sale the Wikipedia profile. It provides a good overview of the canada goose outlet store locations interviewee but we Canada Goose online also like to play true or false? with our guests using the unusual facts or background information the page throws up.
“Clive asks the guests what they canada goose black friday sale had for Canada Goose Jackets breakfast. It sounds odd but it a really good way to test the microphones!” Suzy Roylance
TUESDAYI get the bad news that Charles Canada Goose Outlet can do a music session so we have to wait for him to visit the UK again. Later I receive the good news that Teleman are available, so I arrange for them to arrive at Old Broadcasting House at 8.30am for a sound check. I also request the following:
A picture for the website. We prefer for this to be a landscape head shot.
A press release. This goes in the research pack we give to Clive https://www.canadagoose-online-shop.co.uk/ but we also use it for our web information and script.
We also need a copy of what the guest is promoting. This 2018 canada goose outlet is for Clive to read, watch or listen to.
A phone number for the day of recording so we have a way of getting hold of the person if something goes wrong.
Names for anyone accompanying them on the day (such as a tour manager) for the guest list which is handed to reception.
For bands we need a rider in other words their technical requirements for the music session. This is so we know what we can accommodate in the studio and canadian goose jacket to provide information for the studio managers who will rig the studio accordingly.
Tuesday is the day when we send all the research notes, press releases, CDs, books, film screeners, arranged theatre dates and so on for Clive to start working on. We send this with a letter to Clive, detailing who on, a short biography of the guest and their most recent work, plus a running order.

WEDNESDAYToday I conduct a research chat with our guest Fiona O the star of Channel 4 dystopian drama series Utopia.
I also send the technical line up for Kacey Musgraves and Teleman to our studio managers.
It all hands on deck to find a replacement for a guest who’s cancelled for next week. When all the guests have arrived and are seated in the studio. Clive asks the guests what they had for breakfast. Sounds odd but it a really good way to test the microphones!
When we start recording I start my stopwatch to make a note of timings. The show’s duration is between 43 and 44 minutes and we record it live As buy canada goose jacket cheap live means the show is recorded as if it was live even though it pre recorded. This gives you the flexibility of a pre record but keeps the momentum of a live broadast with minimal editing at the end.
I make a note of interesting comments from the guests that might make interesting tweets. I send these onto the Radio 4 black friday canada goose social media team.
After the show is recorded I make a photo gallery and edit and publish clips of the music sessions for the website. I publish the clips and post them up with a picture of the accompanying sound check.
Then that’s me done; cheap Canada Goose now onto next week!
