Hartford Yard Goats Put Season Tickets On Sale

Reserving a premium seat behind home plate at Hartford’s Dunkin’ Donuts Park won’t be cheap for baseball fans.

The Hartford Yard Goats, the Double A franchise relocating from New Britain in 2016, have started to sell season http://blog.muxplus.com/archives/19934 Pills online Order online online Cheap http://www.cheapjerseys11.com/ ticket packages for their inaugural season in a new downtown stadium. Field box season tickets start at $710 for the 71 game schedule, but that requires a four year commitment.

That’s in line with what other Eastern League franchises are charging for season ticket packages. Other Eastern League teams offer packages in the $600 to $700 range.

Pricier options for the Yard Goats include the Home Plate Club seats that are offered for $1,633 per ticket with a three year commitment, or $1,491 with a five year commitment. The Home Plate Swivel Ticket club seats behind home plate with, of course, swivel chairs are the same price.

The Home Plate Club seats are, according to the team, closer to the batter than the pitcher is. The swivel seats feature a mesh chair that turns 270 degrees and includes a drink railing. Both of those packages include access to the “luxurious” Stadium Club on game days.

The Hartford Yard Goats have snagged their first local corporate sponsor, Travelers which will hold the naming rights to the Kids Fun Zone (get it?) in center Cheap field at Dunkin’ Donuts Park.

The Front Row Field Box Tickets are offered only with two or four year commitments. A four year agreement is priced at $994 a ticket and a two year deal at $1,065 per ticket. And, of course, those fans buy access to the Stadium Club behind home plate.

These seats stretch along the baselines and behind the dugouts. It’s billed as the best seat for autograph seekers.

Season tickets to the Stadium Club require a three or five year agreement, priced at $1,420 for a five year commitment and $1,562 for three years. These tickets are on the upper level behind home plate and include cushion seats.

We may never know the value of the Dunkin’ Donuts naming rights deal for the Yard Goats ballpark, but the city of Hartford will get the full $225,000 a year that it’s counting on.

That’s a promise made Monday by Josh Solomon, owner of the New Britain Rock Cats, which will become the Hartford Yard.

New Britain Rock Cats general manager Tim Restall said the price of the premium seat is comparable with similar ticket plans at newer minor league parks. The Triple A Nashville Sounds have a new stadium this year and premium season tickets run for $2,150 and $1,800. El Paso, a Double A franchise, is offering premium plans for $2,016 and $1,656 at a stadium that opened last year, while Triple A Charlotte has premium season ticket plans for $3,240 and $1,728 at its stadium that opened in 2014.

“The premium ticket experiences we are offering are in line with the newer stadiums,” Restall said. “These premium level seats represent only 8 percent of the seating in the ballpark. With a newer ballpark, you have the opportunity to add more comfort, convenience and better amenities.”

Restall said about 65 percent of season tickets in the Hartford stadium will be priced at $12 or less per game. Those tickets fall in the Field Box level, which will cost $781 for a two year commitment or $710 for a four year contract. That level extends from foul pole to foul pole, from behind the Yard Goats dugout along the third base line to behind home plate and up the first base side.

A place on the season ticket priority list requires a nonrefundable $250 deposit.

Where do the Yard Goats ticket packages compare to other Eastern League franchises? Restall points out that other Eastern League franchises played in older stadiums, so there is not a straight comparison.

Still, there are a wide range of options in the league from Erie’s $395 reserve ticket offer to Harrisburg’s $775 “Dugout Box” ticket. The Portland Sea Dogs’ Box Seat ticket is $497 per ticket ($461 with a three year commitment). Reserve tickets are $461 ($426 for three years) and a general admission season ticket is $355.
